Ronnie Tarchichi is a dedicated educator whose extensive academic achievements and professional experiences demonstrate his commitment to fostering educational growth. He began his educational journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Philosophy from West Virginia University in 2004. This foundation led to further accomplishments, including a Master of Education in Physical Education and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey in 2005, followed by advanced degrees in science and education. He earned a Master of Science in Biology from Rutgers University and a Master of Biomedical Science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

In addition to his early academic pursuits, Dr. Tarchichi obtained two Master of Arts degrees at Rowan University, specializing in Learning Disabilities and Special Education, between 2015 and 2018. His dedication to academic excellence culminated in two doctoral degrees: a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Rowan University in 2016 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education with a concentration in Special Education from Temple University in 2020.

In 2024, Dr. Tarchichi assumed the position of Executive Director of Education and Principal at the Mary Dobbins School & Legacy Treatment Services in Hainesport, New Jersey. In this capacity, he oversees academic and therapeutic programs designed to meet the needs of students in grades 5 through 12. As Chief School Administrator and Building Principal, he fosters a supportive environment for students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral development while guiding the school toward continued growth and innovation.

Previously, he served as Superintendent of Pennsauken Public Schools from 2016 to 2024, managing a $172 million budget. He introduced over 20 career and technical education programs during his tenure, enhancing vocational opportunities for culinary arts, carpentry, and cosmetology students. He also led the development of significant infrastructure projects, including constructing a state-of-the-art field house and improving athletic facilities, which enriched the district’s extracurricular programs.

Before Pennsauken, Dr. Tarchichi led the Woodlynne School District as Superintendent and Principal from 2013 to 2016. Under his leadership, the district experienced substantial improvements in student achievement and facilities. His earlier career included administrative roles at Salem County Vocational Technical Schools and Mercer County Technical Schools, where he contributed to curriculum development and innovative program launches.

In addition to his K-12 leadership roles, Dr. Tarchichi taught at the collegiate level as an adjunct professor of biology at Rowan University from 2012 to 2017. His experience also includes teaching at other institutions and preparing students for careers in science and health. Beyond education, his background includes 25 years of experience as Head Cook in his family’s restaurant, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for service quality. These lessons continue to inform his leadership approach to education.

Throughout his career, Dr. Tarchichi has earned recognition for his educational contributions. These contributions reflect his dedication to creating student opportunities and improving educational systems. His efforts have left a lasting impact on the communities he serves.
